Chapter [T]wo: Kindergarten school days!

Have you ever wondered, what you have been doing during your childhood when you are 4-6 years old? Other than just attending Kindergarten like the rest of the kids beside you?
Well, mine was relatively different, with lots of jokes, fun & laughter through out the years!

When I was 3, my grandmother stayed with me, which also resulted in fun every evening, where the quest of food challenge begins... Whenever dinner is being prepared, there will be a chance to sneak around for a quick bite, and whenever we were spotted, we will get nagged for being mischievous.

Soon, it all ended, when she passed on... The memories were very vague, as I was still young and playful.. All I remember was every uncle & aunt, cousin & family members I know were gathered. During the wake, I was still being mischievous, running around like a monkey, until the day of cremation when I learn the truth of death.
Just imagine, a man who is always smiling & cheerful, suddenly weeping & chasing behind the coffin van, moaning and shouting for his mother, saying to be sorry for not listening to what she has said in the past.. This was what my memories revealed to me, photos of my uncle & aunt at the cremation hall. Where cries were deafening, tears were flowing from the bottom of their heart. This opened my eyes to death & how it has affected people in their lives.

After all of the ceremony, I was on my way to kindergarten, where I found out my cousin was in my same class! Being as crazy as always, fighting in class & doing stupid things to make the teachers have an impression of me..

Teacher: Okay class, tomorrow we will have a show & tell session, I want all of you to bring your favorite fruit to class!
Class: what to bring? Don't know leh...
(some girls): I bring apple lah.. small and easy to bring to school!

Instantly, my mind came up with the best fruit ever: DURIAN! So, on the way home, I told my parents about getting some durian to kindergarten, apparently it was approved!
The next day, I dragged 1 or 2kg of durians across my kindergarten hall, leaving a trail of pungent smell and injuries to my calf. But here is the best part, during the show & tell, I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO OPEN THE DURIAN -.-

During kindergarten, there is also perfromance, which totally turns me off when the teacher asked me to skip.. SKIP! -.- Imagine Kenneth Yap skipping around "happily" .. As expected, I got impatient during the performance in kindergarten and gave funny faces while I performed =D

Should find some of the photographs and attach it with the posts =D

Next time...
