New days come new responsibilities...
Day 6
2nd week starts, which I was getting into the pace of my job... continued with the database which made me use up my brain juice in the matter of minutes, to ensure that there is no repeat of data sent out during the blast.
Before leaving, I asked Mervin on the expectations he has for me, which I will know on Wednesday....
Day 7
What a way to start my day in the MRT, 4 super huge guys (1 Mr Fuan size, 3 of almost twice my size) squeezed into the MRT... blocking the whole door, OMG...
Finished the database and task given before moving on to sending the email to the 3 poster girls of Great Eastern Women 10k 2011, hopefully they will reply the email before 1st March =]
Went lunch with Chris, Arvind, Danny & Zi En to Great World City in Chris's car. Damn cool, reminded me of the old car I had... but main thing, we were listening to Dani California on the way back, where we stopped at the junction. Everyone was rather high with the song. Suddenly, the bus uncle was also high as he showed the 'okay' sign and rocker hand signal... WOW.... what an uncle...
Day 8
The day that I got owned by true Singaporeans, where all the aunties started squeezing you from all the angles just to get into the bus... Totally OWNEDZ!
Day started as Mervin told me of his expectations, where I have a clearer understanding on what are the tasked that I have to complete. When others expects of you, do let them know of your expectations too.... Following, I went on to update the group registration cover letter for the schools! Where I tried to apply the skills of making it look more flowery, hopefully it helps =] Ended the day with a call to Hans for catering, what a nice day =]
Day 9
Reached the office, started to add more schools to the school listings, until Mervin gave me further instructions on what to do for the day.
Went on to New Balance, before heading down to Great Eastern Centre where I learnt about the colour of bags even matter, even the things that are going to be printed on it matters. After having lunch, Mervin, Danny, SiYi & me took a walk around the soft launch route. It showed me how critical it is to even experience the route, which dangers are all around the corner (car parks, curbs, narrow routes, shop houses).
After which, we return to the office, where I learnt of the Fire Safety Permit & Public Entertainment License from SiYi. (VERY OMG) Finished the layout with pictures hopefully to send and it can get approved asap! *cross fingers*
Again, did some quotations and callings before ending the day with Amanda Lim, Kelly & Angie =]
